Maintenance
- Your
door is coated with a primer. After installation,
paint it with a high quality paint intended for use on
primed metal. Check with a paint expert at your local
paint or hardware store. Repaint as needed to extend
life.
- Clean
the gutter of the door yearly.
- Inspect
the door periodically for damaged handles, springs,
hinges and safety bar.
Caution
- The
doors may be heavy. Use caution when opening.
- When
doors are open, make sure the safety bar is in place
at all times.
- Keep all
extremities out of the way of the doors.
- When the
door is open, guard the opening to prevent anyone from
falling down the stairs.
- Close
and lock doors when not in use.
- Keep off
the doors.
- The
doors may be slippery and or
hot.
